Congratulations to the Fall 2013 Nano Portfolio Program Travel Award Winners!
Each long semester, Nano Portfolio Program students are invited to apply to receive up to $1,000 of support to attend a national conference and present their nano-themed research. The award is normally given to the top three candidates, but this semester four students were chosen due to the exceptional merit of their applications. These students are:
- Pratixa Joshi, who will be presenting a paper entitled “Development and Optimization of Multimodal Near-IR Contrast Agents for Immune Cell Tracking” at the 2013 Materials Research Society Fall Meeting
- Taylor Harvey, who will be presenting his work entitled “Multistep Selenization of CuInGaSe2 Nanocrystal Photovoltaics” at the 2013 American Institute of Chemical Engineers Annual Meeting
- Kwanoh Kim, who will be giving a presentation entitled “Ultrahigh Speed Rotary Nanomotors Assembled from Nanoscale Building Blocks” at the 2013 Materials Research Society Fall Meeting
- Jackson Stolle, who will be presenting his research “Photonic Curing of Nanocrystals for Photovoltaics” at the 2013 American Institute of Chemical Engineers Annual Meeting
Congratulations once again to our Fall 2013 winners!
